Event Overview

This one-day, high-impact multidisciplinary conference will deliver a cutting-edge update on the latest advances in thoracic oncology, with a focus on the evolving landscape of lung cancer care. Key topics will include: Innovations in lung cancer screening and interventional pulmonary techniques The expanding role of social media and artificial intelligence in thoracic oncology practice Multidisciplinary strategies for managing early-stage, locally advanced, and metastatic non-small cell and small cell lung cancers Breakthrough therapies, including targeted treatments, immunotherapy, and novel systemic options Each session will feature expert-led presentations followed by interactive panel discussions, offering attendees ample opportunity to engage directly with faculty during frequent Q&A segments. To further enrich the educational experience, interactive debates and case studies presented by fellows will foster practical, peer-driven learning. Participants will also receive on-demand access to presentation materials for continued review after the event.

To receive your Certificate of Attendance, complete and submit the Evaluation Form. Once this form is submitted your certificate will be available for download.

Registered attendees can earn a maximum of 6.75 CME/ABIM MOC/CE credits. You will be able to select the amount of credits being claimed.

Physicians: If you would like to earn MOC credit please complete the Post-Test prior to submitting the evaluation. Once submitted, you will not be able to go back to complete the Post-Test. In order for MEC to report your MOC credit, your ABIM Diplomate ID number and date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy) MUST be included in your MyMedflix user profile. A completed evaluation and passing score of 70% on the post-test is required. You will have (3) attempts to pass the test.

Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: Summarize the latest evidence and recommendations in lung cancer screening, including advances in early detection methods. Describe the evolving role of interventional pulmonary procedures in the diagnosis and management of lung cancer. Evaluate emerging applications of artificial intelligence and social media in improving lung cancer care delivery, education, and patient engagement. Analyze the multidisciplinary treatment strategies for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), including surgical resection, neoadjuvant/adjuvant therapies, targeted treatments, immunotherapy, and novel systemic therapies. Discuss current updates in the therapeutic landscape for small cell lung cancer (SCLC), with a focus on integration into clinical practice.

Target Audience

This educational activity has been designed to address the learning needs of a diverse oncology care team, including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician associates, pharmacists, residents, fellows, and other health care professionals involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with lung cancer.
