How do I earn CME/CE credits/contact hours for an enduring accredited activity?

To successfully earn credit and receive a certificate of completion, learners must read the overview, target audience, learning objectives and disclosure information; study the educational content, complete the post-test and the activity evaluation. Your certificate of completion will be available for download via email immediately after completion of the post-test and evaluation.
When post-test is submitted you will receive an email with your total score and selected responses and a link to download the post-test with all correct answers along with a link to complete the evaluation. Upon submission of your evaluation, you will receive your Certificate of Attendance to download/print.

How do I test?

All tests utilize a multiple-choice format. Read each question carefully, and choose one correct response. Once you have selected a response for each question, click on the Submit button at the bottom of the test page.

When post-test is submitted, you will receive an email with your total score and selected responses and a link to download the post-test with all correct answers along with a link to complete the evaluation. Upon completion and submission of the evaluation, you will receive an email with a link to download/print your certificate.

Does MEC provide credits for ABIM-Maintenance of Credit (MOC)?

MEC will indicate CME activities designated to earn ABIM-MOC credit with the appropriate badge. In order for physician learners to earn ABIM-MOC Credit for this CME activity, you must complete the post-test and receive a passing score of 70%.
You will have three (3) attempts to pass the test. If you pass, the Medical Educator Consortium will report both the activity and the associated CME credit to the ABIM. ABIM MOC points are equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed by the physician learner for the activity.

I did not receive my certificate of attendance? Can it be resent to me?

If you have trouble accessing your certificate of attendance, send an email to info@meccinc.com. Clearly indicate the title of the activity you are referring to, your profession and date completed.

Can MEC send my CME/CE certificate to my state board or any other licensing body?

MEC sends certificates to the participant only. If an activity includes MOC credit, MEC also provides direct reporting of MOC Self-Assessment credits to various specialty boards on behalf of diplomates who subscribe to this service and if they provide MEC with the required information (ABIM ID and birthdate in mm/dd format).
Additionally, MEC provides direct reporting of credits to ACPE for pharmacists through CPE monitor within 60 days of the activity expiration as long as they provide MEC with the required information (NABP ID and birthdate in mm/dd format). and pharmacy technicians (see General Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians accreditation section for specific details).

Can I access my lectures after my subscription has expired?

No, subscribers will not be able to access lectures once their subscription expires.
